Warren Grace Photography
Hello, and welcome! Thanks for being here. I am Warren. Yes, my parents named me after a network of interconnecting bunny burrows. I am a landscape and wildlife photographer from South Africa. Although I specialise predominantly in Landscapes and Wildlife, I love all genres of photography and will showcase them here.
My primary career has been as a pilot where I’ve spent many years flying around this stupendously glorious continent of Africa. At the end of 2018 I decided to take a break from flying as it involved an unnecessary amount of casual sitting, and I was required to wear shoes. Jokes aside, I’ve always been a bit of a free-spirit and had a yearning to pursue other ventures in the creative field.
My journey into photography began as a classic Covid-lockdown-induced creative outlet. In between all the hand-washing and daytime drinking, I started investing more time into learning about photography and honing my skills. I took photos of just about everything. This included my wife, flowers, trees, the moon, insects, terminally-ill houseplants, stars, hadedas, and my cats (With their permission of course).
I truly wish I had discovered photography early on in my life, but here I am, and I bloody love it. Mother Nature is my ultimate muse and my newfound love for photography has allowed me to see and experience the beauty of our world from a whole new perspective. With my photography, I aim to capture the emotion and drama of a scene and tell a story rather than take the perfect, technically sound photograph. I hope that I can convey this through my art.
So, thanks for coming along. I appreciate your support.
Hugs xx
